I am a successful business woman and have many years of experience related with medical equipment. I moved to Auckland in 2000. I decided to invest in early childhood education because I believe that children are the future of our society; children deserve the best. I am also a professional Erhu (two string violin) player. I believe that music is a universal language. I am eager to share my music learning journey with children.

Carol Guan The founder and the manager

I joined early childhood education inspired by my daughter Juliana 8 years ago. I learn, teach and grow with my daughter. I am a qualified and provisionally registered teacher. Currently I am studying towards Master of Early Childhood Education.
My interest is to research child development theories. By doing research and practice, my long term goal is to take the essence of the eastern and the western culture, combine the different theories to explore a unique, teaching approach which caters to individual child’s developmental needs. I believe that one of the most important responsibilities of early childhood educators is to build foundations for children to be life long learners. I aspire to sow seeds in children’s heart to promote equality in this multi-cultural New Zealand society so that When they grow up, they are able to make a contribution to the society and make this world a better place.

I graduated from NZTC in 2013 with a Certificate in early childhood teaching (ECE). I have worked with children as a student teacher and also as a reliever since 2012. It is enjoyable to work with children of all ages and I have gained lots of experience. Now I have my own child which has helped me to gain a deeper understanding of early childhood education and It is a continuous learning journey for both me and my child. I believe children learn through play, meanwhile, I look forward to providing quality early childhood education to children. I value each child as an individual and I will provide opportunities for children to meet their individual needs.

Sukhdeep

I completed my bachelor of education from India and upgraded my qualification with Postgraduate diploma in Early childhood education from NZTC college in 2018. I am a provisionally registered teacher now. I have been working as an ECE teacher in New Zealand for 2 years. The knowledge I gained through my teaching an learning journey helped me to develop my own teaching philosophy. I believe every child is unique and must have a stimulating educational environment where they can grow physically, mentally, emotionally and socially. As an early childhood teacher, I endeavour to facilitate children with learning opportunities that can help them reach their full potential. I am confident that by constantly working on building reciprocal and responsive relationships with children and their whanau, we are able to foster an environment at Little One’s Garden where respect, trust, care and love is a paramount.

Sashini Kanchana

I have successfully completed New Zealand Diploma in Early Childhood Education and care in 2019. Throughout last three years I have gained experiences by working with babies, toddlers and Preschool children in different settings. I strongly believe that “A child is a treasure, to be nurtured, to grow, to flourish as all the children are unique. I would like to grow myself and nourish children’s lives by recognizing their rights as children and I hope to actively respond to strengths, interests, abilities and needs of each child in relation to learning, behaviour, development and communication.
